A contemporary landscape scheme in limestone: sawn steps, split-face wall cladding and a water feature surround with a honed finish.
The Challenge
The scheme mixed three finishes of the same limestone, so the client wanted one supplier to hold the colour across sawn, split-face and honed surfaces.
The water feature surround needed a honed finish with cut-outs for the pool liner, so the pieces had to be dimensioned from site templates.
The Results
We supplied sawn steps, split-face cladding and honed surround from one limestone source so the tone stayed consistent across all three finishes.
Steps were cut with an anti-slip groove on the nosing and a 3 mm chamfer on all arises.
The water feature surround was dimensioned from site templates, dry-assembled and shipped with the cut-outs pre-formed.
