A terrace garden held by Golden Granite G682: split-face retaining blocks, flamed wall panels and solid copings cut to a 12 mm overhang.

The Challenge
The wall faces three levels of terrace, so every course had to line through vertically while absorbing the natural variation of a split-face finish.
Copings had to overhang the face by exactly 12 mm on all sides and shed water without staining the stone below.
The Results
Blocks were split to a nominal 100 mm face height and dry-stacked at the factory to confirm the coursing before shipment.
Wall panels were calibrated on the back face to a 30 mm bed so the split faces could sit flush without mortar build-up.
Copings were cut with a drip groove on the underside, so rainwater breaks clean of the wall face and no staining appears.
